Account Executive

As an Account Executive at pasby™, you will be responsible for owning, managing, and driving the complete sales process from first contact all the way to closing a deal and introducing to a customer success manager. The position requires strong prospecting, effective communication, presentation and sales closing skills.
pasby™ customers range from public-sector organisations to private-sector early-stage startups. You will develop an inbound and outbound lead engine, with your primary goal being to hit and exceed sales quotas, so you will want to pick up the phone and prospect to secure your pipeline. Nearly every service provider from 2+ employees could be a pasby customer, so the potential is virtually limitless. As an Account Executive, you will report to the VP of Sales in Nigeria. What will be your Key Responsibilities:
- Complete the sales cycle from leading to negotiations to securing a deal
- Initiating strategic sales initiatives as well as high sales activity to achieve set targets consistently
- Both short-term and long-term pipeline building
- Excellent CRM hygiene and keeping records of sales and data
- Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing a deal
- Convert inbound meetings and Sales Qualified Leads into Opportunities
- Qualify and quantify Opportunities and drive towards closure
- Pro-actively conduct outbound prospecting activities
- Use multi-channel prospecting tools such as phone calls, email, social media
- Booking and conducting more profound qualification meetings
- Be part of a close-knit, internationally-oriented sales team
- Create customer relationships and cooperate with Customer Success to ensure initial customer satisfaction
- Actively participate and cooperate in marketing activities
- Taking own initiatives and finding new ways to further develop the AE team’s way of working is appreciated
Requirements:
- 2-3 years experience in a B2B SaaS sales position, ideally in the vertical/HR tech space.
- 5 years of hands-on experience working in a sales role
- A robust and proven track record of top performance
- Lead qualification experience and confidence with cold calling
- Understanding the importance of building an entire pipeline and excited to start qualifying potential customers to fill a pipeline with enough revenue to yield your desired commission
- Education? A bachelors is great, but we will undoubtedly consider experience and a great attitude
- A high-performance attitude, true competitive hunter mentality and admirable work ethic
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills – including active listening, excellent conversational skills and an ability to understand and solve problems
- Exhibit maturity and emotional intelligence, as well as the ability to take a complex issue and break it down for your customers
- Native English language skills
